The ND letterform and soft violet setting establish the publicationundefineds mood. The brighter 70+ subscribers graphic gives a different moment a more celebratory feel.

The identity could feel quiet while the milestone could celebrate the people reading.
Looking at the finished work
The 70+ subscribers figure appears on the original milestone artwork; it is not presented as growth caused by the design.
